I was born in Edinburg, Texas, to two extremely young parents who had work ethic like you wouldn't believe. I grew up in Portales, New Mexico with my parents and younger brother. Growing up when my parents had extra money they would take us to the movies, and that's where my love of film began.
In school I was fairly outgoing, in Portales at least, then we moved and I became extremely shy and got bullied a bit but then we moved again, then once more back to Portales, where I stayed shy in school. I'm still extremely blessed to have had my friends in school where I could still be myself. After moving back, I didn't really talk too much or was as outgoing, then I moved to Clovis, New Mexico, where I said "That's going to change."
It did not. I stayed quiet and shy in school. (Thank God for my friends and Black Ops 3 I still got to be myself there) It wasn't until I got my first job at North Plains Cinema 7 where I began to be myself, other than at the house or a friend's. My first job was also where I met a friend named Jaden who told me you could go to school for film. That blew my mind I had no idea that was even a thing.
After graduating high school, I went to the University of New Mexico and I loved it there. I got to be myself in classes, makes friends, go out a bit, I even got to win my first ever film festival! Going Home, was going to be premiered a few months later in Los Angeles, California but then Covid happened. I finished my first year online, took a gap year which led to a LOT of arguments with my parents. But I returned to school a year later at a different school where I didn't know a lot of people. But I still wanted to create something.
This was where I found out who I am. I created a short film called Me, Myself, & I, where I played 3 characters and did practically 95% of it by myself. (My brother helped by throwing a dog toy at my face). This was the first time I created something that I didn't know how to make and I fell even more in love with film because of it. Since then I graduated, filmed some more projects, helped make some projects, worked at a bad videography place for a rude roofer, and now I'm a waiter. Although I may be a waiter now I know what I am, who I am. and what I'm going to be doing. You'll just have to wait and see. ;)
Yours Truly,
